BREXIT Statement

Since the announcement by the British Government in January 2020 that the UK will be exiting the European Union on 31 December 2020, STS Ltd have been working with European suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure that the supply chain will have minimal disruption.
As an experienced importer, STS Ltd are well versed in the requirements for bringing goods in from the EU and have arrangements in place with all our freight forwarders to ensure that any disruption in deliveries is reduced to a minimum. STS Ltd only work with industry recognised freight forwarders that have experience in all the regulations surrounding customs clearance.
STS Ltd procure a number of their products from renowned factories in the EU and have been working with our suppliers to ensure that ongoing stock is readily available. This has included increasing our buffer stock in the UK should there be a delay in deliveries in 2021. We continue to work with European suppliers to ensure that all EU & UK applicable regulations and standards are complied with in product quality. This will continue to be monitored to ensure that this is maintained.
As yet, we do not know what, if any, cost implications there will be following the UK exit from the EU. This will largely be dependent on the outcome of the trade deal being negotiated between the UK and the EU. However, STS Ltd are committed to keeping any price movements to a minimum.
