It’s the weekend but in lockdown, for the kids, the days can blur into one another. Testing times for all of us but don’t despair! Calling all parents – don’t feel alone if you are beginning to run out of ways to keep occupying your small people. We’ve got some Saturday afternoon support coming your way.
Below you will find instructions for you and the kids to make your very own box car from a few household items. This may be best saved for a rainy day when the kids can’t get outside for their daily exercise or if you don’t have any outside space, but we know they will love giving this ago regardless – we know our Marketing Assistant Candace had far too much fun build our demo version!
What you need:
- Cardboard box – Any size! Cereal boxes work a treat if you have multiple little ones.
- Sticky Tape
- Colouring pens/crayons/pencils
- Scissors or Craft Knives (Parental supervision needed)
- bored kids – (not essential but recommended)
